April at a Glance
As we have learned, and as you all well know, weddings take a lot of work and preparation to pull off. Oh but what joy it brings when you do.
Wedding day is a culmination of the hard work put in behind the scenes of those closest to the bride and groom, and the hard work the bride and groom put into their relationship to build a foundation strong enough to say yes to a life together.
The wedding day is a beautiful celebration of the bride and groom and everyone who helped them get there. Neither could happen without the other.
In ministry, and in life really, we prepare for big moments, with the help of so many others, and the next day continue to live life and build upon who and what the big moments of yesterday represented.
I pray we continue to put the work in and prepare well for the big moments and important days that we get to be a part of. And when those days pass, I pray we continue to live well the next day and the next, no matter how momentous or mundane in an effort to steward well each day, moment, and opportunity we are given.
One of my favorite parts of going through Esther the last couple months is hearing the girls talk about and share what they’ve learned with one another and others. From their teachers at school to the baristas they’ve become friends with at the coffee shop we go to every week.
I’ve not only seen them enjoy the planting process of studying and digging deep, I’ve also gotten to see the fruit it’s born in their lives, and how they’ve joyfully chosen to share it with others.
Moody Bible Institute
Twenty years of planting seeds in this field. This is my second year accompanying dad to teach and sit down with students at Moody.
It’s one of the best parts, getting to share and invest in the lives of people whose season of life is so familiar to me and important to them.

Lots of behind the scenes work this past month as we continue to create and curate new ways to share these words with others.
FRC Parent-Student PLACE Experience
As I have already told every student I’ve coached since this weekend, our hope for these students and their parents is that PLACE could become one of the many tools in their toolbox that they use to build the life they’re looking for.
My prayer is that this weekend is the first of many opportunities to work with students, families, and even schools that seek to invest in the lives of students and those that pour into them.
