August at a Glance
It’s hard to believe August is coming to a close and with that my first full year with PLACE. As I’ve reflected on all this past year has held, I realize that none of it would have been possible without God’s favor, His gifts, and your support.
This past month has been one of reflection and anticipation. I was reading in 1 Corinthians 4 this past week and there were two words, titles really, that stood out to me. In reference to his ministry, Paul says this in 1 Corinthians 4:1
“This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.”
I too pray that that is how we are regarded, as servants and stewards of Christ and his message. I am both humbled and grateful to be a servant and steward of the Gospel, as each of us are in the places the Lord has called us.
With the beginning of the school year came volleyball season and getting back together with nearly the whole team! Having almost 25 girls show up after a full day of school and practice to laugh together and learn more about God’s word is something special.
My prayer has been that the Lord would show me how to create an environment where desire for Him is stirred and curiosity is cultivated.
First Baptist Atlanta
Nearly twenty years in the making, PLACE was officially launched at First Baptist Atlanta.
Dad and I had the opportunity to teach PLACE at FBA with their people. We will continue to work with and come alongside them as they seek to help their members find their place at their church.
PLACE Workshop
After another PLACE Training this past month, we are excited to come alongside these new churches as they develop their PLACE process for their church and see all that God can do at their churches.

Bucky Kennedy Podcast & myPLACE Podcast
After taking a bit of a summer hiatus, the podcasts are back in full swing!
It has been so encouraging to get feedback from people at North Hall who listen to Bucky and I’s podcast and others who listen to our myPLACE Podcast.
My prayer is that those conversations would encourage and equip people to be servants of the gospel and stewards of the lives God gave them.
