The benefits of the spiritual life are like the honor, glory, and power of the one true living God. They are without equal, matchless, unrivaled in every way. “But now you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life” (Romans 6:22). Are you living every single day like a child of God, one who has freedom from this world and who has eternal life? Are you an ambassador of Jesus Christ who knows and continually counts all his benefits. “Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits-who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s”(Psalm 103: 1-5).
The Meaningful life: “Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: fear God and keep his commands, for this is the whole duty of man”.
(Ecclesiastes 12: 13)
Esteemed of God: “This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word”.
(Isaiah 66: 2)
Favor and a good name: “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man”.
(Proverbs 3: 3-4)
Prosperity: “Misfortune pursues the sinner, but prosperity is the reward of the righteous”.
(Proverbs 13: 21)
Successful plans: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed”.
(Proverbs 16: 3)
Strength: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint”.
(Isaiah 41: 30)
Peace: “You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you”.
(Isaiah 26: 3)
Protection: “The angel of the Lord encamps around those that fear him, and he delivers them”.
(Psalm 34: 7)
Fulfillment: “Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart”.
(Psalm 37: 4)
