Step 1: Values–Defining My Values

Values are typically one word or short phrase that describe qualities, principles or ideals. There are diverse opinions as to what constitutes a value versus a priority. Often individuals will use them interchangeably.

Values are often linked to personality. The following are words used to describe individuals using the DISC personality assessment.

 

D – Leadership, focus, practicality, achievement, directness, responsiveness
I – Enthusiasm, spontaneity, participation, involvement, receptiveness
S – Patience, flexibility, cooperation, respectfulness, balance, blending, validation
C – Skillfulness, comprehensiveness, discernment, dedication, accuracy
