Step 5: Build a Wall Around Your Faith
Romans 12:2 – “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2 is often quoted, but with little practical application. How do you apply this verse practically? One way to do this is to surround your mind with your values, priorities, incubated life roles, action statements, and scheduled action statements. If your mind is surrounded by these elements that define you and are important to you, it will be difficult for other elements to enter.
