And How To Overcome Them

BY Jay McSwain | Mary McSwain

The dark sides of your personality are areas where you are weak and tendencies that cause you to stumble, but it is also where God’s light best pierces through and shines. It can actually be the best place to experience God’s power because His power is made perfect in weakness!

Testimonials

“We have used the PLACE Assessment for 20+ years now. We no longer offer live classes, but have taken full advantage of the online PLACE training videos to deepen the understanding of the importance of PLACE. We have trained coaches to help with the discernment process along the way. Our hope is that people will have a clear understanding how God has wired them for life and then incorporate this new knowledge into serving in the church and in the market place.”

Roxanne AncyDirector of Outreach Pathway Church Burleson TX

“PLACE has been a tremendous tool in helping our church members to identify their natural wiring, to affirm their giftedness and to empower them to use those gifts for God’s glory. If you really want to see the benefits of one body, many members (1 Corinthians 12:12-27), I’d strongly encourage you to invest in your people by utilizing this resource. When each individual Christ-follower runs in his/her God-given lane, the Body functions the way it’s meant to.”

Malcolm MarshallCampus Pastor, Houston’s First Baptist Church

"We have used PLACE in our church for years. It is a wonderful, concise, clear and insightful tool for both volunteers and staff. I don’t know where we would be without such a great resource!"

Gregg MatteSenior Pastor of Houston's First Baptist Church

"My pastor is such a big reason why PLACE can succeed. If you truly believe that every member is a minister, you are held accountable to empowering and equipping the people under your care. If the entire church body becomes aware of how vital it is to connect people to and affirm people in meaningful ministry, then making that a reality becomes everyone's role. Not just the PLACE team."

Sue Drake PLACE Team Lead

Community Church of Mt. Pleasant - Mt. Pleasant, NC

"We are still dong PLACE here at least twice a year. We have had over 300 go through PLACE since we began some years ago and needless to say we have many that have and are being involved in our ministry and it is because they completed PLACE. "

Dr. Gene SchuylerMembership Pastor

Mid-Way Church - Raleigh, NC

“For 15 years I have had the privilege to teach and coach PLACE here at Biltmore Church. I remember telling one of our new class participants, “What you have to give is always what someone else needs”. I have seen this play out many times over. Recently I watched this husband and wife serve together, welcoming our members and guests into the worship center. What a great example they are to their children. Jay, It’s a privilege to see the joy of serving on the faces of our PLACE participants; thank you for the opportunity to lead and serve our people.”
